Located just a block from ISU’s campus, Creative Artists’ Studios of Ames (or CASA) is a collaborative workspace where artists bring together limitless talent and passion under one roof. CASA is made up of several smaller private artist studios, as well as a large shared clay studio. Artists’ work ranges from two-dimensional works in watercolor and ink to more sculptural pieces made from clay, metal, and more.CASA strives to be a constant resource for artists in Ames, providing private spaces to work, learn, collaborate, and share their expertise with the public and each other.
If you’re interested in discovering a new talent or simply learning a craft, artists also offer classes, which can be viewed on CASA’s website at www.creativeartists.org. The website also provides information about becoming a CASA artist and renting your own studio space.
