Music on the Move

The Ames Community Arts Council and Stephens Auditorium are proud to partner to bring you Music on the Move! After COVID made it difficult to host live performances, we decided to bring the music to you! Local musicians will jump on a small stage being pulled by a motorized bike, and bring their talent to your neighborhood. Music on the Move gives musicians a unique performance opportunity and delivers live music to the citizens of Ames. This new partnership will provide free, quality, entertainment for the entire family while also supporting musicians, regardless of the state of the pandemic.

Ames Community Arts Council Members Second Chair Brass (Rick Ennis, euphonium and Bill Buttermore, tuba) played the streets of Green Hills Community and then parked at The Lindens parking lot to performed a concert for residents and staff.
