Internship Positions!
Join our team and gain valuable experience. We are a small organization and we depend on interns to provide vital services. Our positions are unpaid, but students may be able to earn course credit.

In the recent past, interns have:
  • Built a new Arts Council website
  • Written a handbook for Board members
  • Written blog posts and press releases
  • Helped develop and implement a social media plan
  • Explored ways to increase membership
  • Represented the Arts Council at member events
  • Interviewed and/or videotaped artist members for promotional purposes
  • Written the weekly e-newsletter
  • Created posters and promotional materials
  • Attended board meetings and participated in discussions
  • Worked on organization branding
  • Assisted with art activities for the community
  • Written a style manual for the newsletter

Other projects could include:
  • Grant writing
  • Event planning and implementation
  • Campaigns to increase newsletter list and/or memberships

This internship might be right for you if you are interested in the arts and have skills in the following areas: 
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with others and contribute to a team
  • Ability and interest in working on a variety of tasks and projects
