There will be a different live musical act every Thursday, inflatables from Gee Willie Entertainment, a Children's Activities Center supervised by Young Professionals of Ames, and a balloon water drop. Becca Wemhoff, a children's balloon artist, will perform from 6:00-7:30 pm on June 5, June 26, July 10 and July 31.

This date's musical act is the seven-piece band Blue Moon Players.

This date's food vendor is Andy's BBQ.

Description:   Lemon, topaz, canary, custard, or uranium glass? Marty Lawson, Iowa Quester and pressed glass collector, will discuss what precisely the coveted Vaseline glass is – and is not. Lawson will explore the unique composition and quality of Vaseline glass and present an overview of its production from the 1800’s through present. She will define and clarify methods and tools for glass identification, as well as offer tips on display and presentation of this vibrant type of glass.

Learn how to creat a traditional European Market Bag and new techniques such as: Rib stitch, I-cord, Star Mesh stitch patterns, and several decrease methods.  This class is for the advanced beginner or intermediate knitter - not for those learnign how to knit.

Bring #7 single-point or circular needles (bamboo is recommended), #8 single-point or circular needles (bamboo is recommended), #7 or #8 double-point needles, stitch markers, yarn or darning needle.  Yarn will be provided, if you wish to bring in your own you will need approx 600 yd of cotton or cotton blend yarn (worsted weight).
